Interesting that they are effectively planning to pull the plug on the bottom end of the market and concentrate on the high end stuff. A lot of bad press surrounding their cheap sticks recently - a lot of it on here - wonder if it's connected. Perhaps they don't want their reputation tarnished trying to compete at that end of the market for such little profit.

No surprise they are planning to concentrate on SSD production in the forthcoming months, they must have made bucketloads from the Vertex/Vertex2 in the last year and presumably want to capitalise on this before the whole market becomes less profitable.
 
At least theyre still gonna produce their high end ram kits, always loved the reaper series in particular.
 
Can't say I'm sad. For "hand tested" they sure have given me and people I know a lot of dead-on-arrival memory. Guess that wasn't helping the margins any :P
 
yeah had a couple of dead OCZ modules which is a shame, cause otherwise they were perfect and looked awesome! corsair are meant to be the supreme reliability brand right?
