I'm considering one if I spot a price low enough. But the lack of end user feedback is putting me off, as everyone seems to be going Samsung 840 series.

I don't need to read of previous OCZ models failure rate. Just interested in the Vector series. And if OCZ is likely to be around in 5 years time for warranty cover.

Well mine is still working, 1167 hours and counting.

Not seen any threads "OMG my Vector is dead" might be a good sign.

No idea if OCZ will be around in 5 years time. I suspect Samsung will be though. :P

PS: I did get my Free copy of Farcry3.

hi there, my 256 gig vector lasted just over a month, before it died......I kept getting bsods, then all of a sudden I lost all the data on the drive. the drive was no longer recognised.....

I sent it off for rma, and received a new drive......

if you go over to ocz forums, there is actualy quite a lot of dead ocz vectors.....

I had / have one, and it died after 3 months, they are very fast but Ive been knocked by its death. RMA process was good but its still a pain in the bottom to lose your system disk.
