ok just brought a OCZ Agility 3 60GB 2.5" SATA-3 Solid State Hard Drive and instill windows on it,just about to update the firmware and it says Updating the firmware from the toolbox is not supported when Windows is running off the drive you are trying to update. so is it worth me having to instill windows on a another drive just to update it?what does the firmware update do?thanks for any reply

If you have a spare harddrive, clone your SSD to that, boot off it, and update your SSD... or download the ISO, burn a CD from it and update your SSD...

I ended up taking the ISO and putting it onto a USB stick to do it.

The firmware update will help resolve freezing and BSOD issues. Theres a big helpful community on the OCZ forums if you get stuck.

They do a bootable Linux USB thing that updates the firmware, secure erases etc. Look in the tools section on their site.
