OCZ Vertex 4, Octane, and Petrol Use Marvell Controllers

Not sure if it's been posted already but thought some of you might find this interesting:

OCZ has managed to do it again. This time it looks like their Indilinx Everest Controllers are actually Marvell controllers with Indilinx firmware.

The Indilinx Everest 1 used in the OCZ Octane and Petrol is a Marvell 88SS9174.
The Indilinx Everest 2 used in the OCZ Vertex 4 is the new Marvell 88SS9187.

That explains why the failure rates of those drives aren't very high then compared to their drives which use the other controllers.
