Ocz vertex2 AHCI problem

I can't seem to get my single ocz vertex 2 to run in ahci mode, it just doesnt detect it but it detects my raptorhdd just fine http://www.ithinkdiff.com/how-to-enable-ahci-in-windows-7-rc-after-installation/ i used this guide but still no luck, my mobo is an Asus P6X58DE.

i recently did a fresh install of w7 64bit and it wouldnt recognise one of my ssd for raid0..... i mucked about for ages trying everything i could think of with no joy....then last ditch atempt tried taking the battery out the mobo for a minute and low and behold no probs after that.... try that jonnycakes.....it worked for me!

taking the battery out of the mobo for a minute works.
try that.
