Hey guys, I just recieved my ssd from ocuk and have a few questions.

The bigfoot i recieved looks nothing like the picture and is labled as a vertex2 and not a 2e anywhere.

The firmware tool wont see the drive but the toolbox will.

Am i missing anything buy not having the 2e? Its just odd that its not what i ordered.

The drive has the 1.23 firmware preloaded.

If it's 50, 100 or 200 GB it's a Vertex 2. If it's 60, 120 or 240 GB then it's a 2E. Apart from capacity and model number there's no difference.

its 120gb. im getting quoted speeds so i aint too bothered. odd that it looks nothing like the image on the ocuk or ocz website.

As the Bigfoot’s are a new model it seems fine they are called Vertex 2.

There's no difference in the model range concerning over provisioning compared to the 2.5" models originally released as Vertex 2 and then later revised Vertex 2E.

All running nicely now except one thing, Stuttering in playback, its very annoying and im tempted to send it back as no matter how fast the pc is now, it makes listening to music unbearable.

any ideas?

Nope. was on my server or my secondary drive. I fixed it now, it was mse. Running avast now and no stuttering.
