Just got the "famous" Gigabyte GTX480 SoC and it appears to work just fine. However in Heaven v3 there are no "artifacts" so to speak of but the screen appears to flicker sometimes blank or coloured, not vsync flicker but something different.

Now I tested Crysis 2 with the high res textures and DX11 pack and played for a good 15 mins and didn't see any issues.

Also ran the latest OCCT test for 1hr and no errors were detected at 1920x1200 8 shader complexity full screen.

So my question is, would you say this GPU is one of the many fubared ones or is it ok and just some odd glitch in Heaven?

Why do you keep posting this nonsense?

Not seen that in heaven op, what version of drivers are you running as the latest beta's cause me problems with my 480 in BF3

yea sry just having abit of fun some ppl take it as that and others dont,i wont be doing anymore so sry for my BS

Just tried again as forgot to lower the memory clock and yes it does indeed still do it.

Surely this must be a driver issue. I think I'll try the beta drivers...

Beta drivers show the same. Also noticed it always happens on the building on the left just as the demo starts..well slightly just after lol.

it "almost" looks like that section is going to wireframe.... odd!

Development, these Heaven flashes ONLY happen in V3, V2.5 all is fine.

Oh and downloaded some nVidia demos and the Endless city just crashes before anything starts whilst the garage one equally will not run.

The Sledge one works though

This IS fun lol

Turns out I have to change the sound output from 8 channel 192Khz to 2 channel 44.1Khz on my Xonar to run these demos...
