Do any of you have any odd methods of playing games? For example on FPS on consoles I always invert the y-axis, yet on PC games I don't as it just feels wrong.

I'm left handed but on guitar etc I play right handed, and on the N64 I hold the left and right parts of the controller, with my left thumb stretched over to the stick and my right index finger on the z trigger.

i used to play beatem ups on the mega drive with the controller on my lap so i could stab the buttons like at the arcade

i pretty much play as designers intended now
but i do route my xbox headset wire under my armpit and round my back as it annoys me

Holding the N64 controller on the left is just...WRONG :p

Inverting the Y-Axis is just...WRONG.

In summary, you are weird. ;)

nope, standard here also.
I've never inverted y-axisis (it's never made sense to me, even on PC games I used to change it); if I push up, I want to look up!

Always used to invert y axis on pc, but when got my xbox this year, I just couldn't play with y inverted, so had to stick with default. Went couple of weeks without playing on the pc, but when I did I could no longer play with y inverted - this is after around 15 or so years of playing inverted on pc.

I am not a totally reformed inverter :)
