Hello,
It's not really a massive issue at all, just a very minor inconvenience and I'm more curious as to why it happens than anything.
Basically (to use a rough average) 2-3 times out of every ten PC start ups (when I turn it on via the power button)
My monitor and mouse are not detected it seems and fail to display an image/mouse doesn't light up or detect input.
In the monitors case, I'll turn it on and see the Windows logo and then it'll go black and usually then display my log on screen. However when it fails to be detected it just shows the Windows logo and then goes black followed by a cycle of all available inputs (HDMI, VGA etc) before going into standby mode as no signal is detected. To solve this I simply turn the monitor off and then on again and it always works fine after that. Like I say, no major issue. Just odd.
The mouse is similar when it doesn't work. I just have to yank its usb connection out of the pc and straight back ion again and it instantly works. Like I say, this doesn't happen on every start up. It's somewhat uncommon. I find delaying when I turn the monitor on by a few seconds after I power on the pc helps.
My monitor is a Acer XB240H (1080p, 144hz refresh model)
My mouse is a Corsair Gaming CH-9303011-EU Sabre RGB Multi-Colour
Any idea what's happening?
Cheers.
