Odd garden question

I am looking for a fir tree to purchase for my garden, ideally will grow no more than 6ft and can be purchased mature, delivered to me!

It is for my GF's cat to sit under when she moves in..... The lengths we go to!

Any gardeners know of such a magical tree which fits the bill and anywhere they can be ordered from?

Where are you based? Squire's garden centres often have such things that you can go and view. Bought a ~14ft olive tree from them a few years back which they delivered (unsurprisingly!).

You're right. I started with the idea that an actual xmas tree (douglas fir) would be appropriate, as they are relatively slow growing. And then got carried away

What are the chances the cat will oblige by sitting under it?

Regarding height - surely just get any old evergreen and trim it once a year?

you could get a tree 'box' .. something where it's warm and dark under the fir.. doesn't have to be massively tall.. just enough space for a cat to sit under and look out?

How about planting some Cat Grass and put it under a sheltered area in your garden?

Sadly I have no other shelter at all in the garden.

He currently sits under a fir tree in her current garden, usually for about 14hrs a day, but got nothing comparable here for him.

"any old tree" approach wont really work because I need something that will not get huge - Not that overground maintenance is an issue, but also because of what goes on with large tree species underground. It will be fairly close to the house so cant have something which will have big thick roots possibly causing problems with foundations. - The tree box looks like a neat idea if I can get a suitable tree
