This reminds me why I felt it was a sensible idea to move on my 136k S60 D5 which was on its original master cylinder, clutch and DMF. The whole lot is pretty expensive to change.
Master is bolted to the bulkhead, the slave is inside the bellhousing of the gearbox.
Engine mounts, linkages, hoses, wiring and gearbox has to come off to change it, so slightly yes.
