odd pointer problem in win 7

hey guys,

I have a new laptop and i've just noiticed that the busy and working in background pointer isn't animated.

I've checked the control panel and on the mouse's pointer settings I can select the two animated pointers which work fine in the little preview window but still dont anywhere else.

I've tried google but haven't found anything about this issue.

Please help.....

in widows 7 and vista instead if XP's egg timer you have animated cricle that turns as you machine is either busy or doing something in the background.

On my laptop I have this cricle, but it doesn't turn at all.

When i log in on the laptop I get the animated cricle next to welcome ok but when i get it to my desktop it stops working.

I would provide a screenshot but the curser doesn't show up on them.

solved.

It was the touchpad driver.

A simple update from the manufacture of the driver fixed it.

very odd.
