Random question that may not make any sense, but it is late and my brain is addled.

Currently have a Corsair C300 (64GB) as my C drive with W7-64 bit, Office and EVE loaded onto it. Also have a Crucial CT64 fitted as my FSX drive.

Having just upgraded my system, I finally noticed that I can use the Intel Smart Response thingymy whatsit.

A few questions on this. Do i have to enable Rapid Storage Technology in the BIOS? Will I need to install Windows and everything from fresh? Will I actually see any benefits from this.

What i was thinking of is getting one of these, then copying my C drive over on to that, renaming it and running the new drive as main OS drive and then use the Corsair drive for Smart Response (was going to use EASUS Partition Manager for the copying and renaming of the drives).

Cheers all
