Just did the switch from Win7 RC to retail and, after an initital hiccup* all is well with my new OS install.

*The first restart during installation crashed. I cussed, and started over and thought no more of it.
The problem is that when either switching the PC on or restarting I am initially confronted with the Windows Boot Selection screen, which goes to the claim that the first item on the list, "Windows Setup" (or similar) failed to boot, and the usual handul of jargon:

\$windows.~bt\windows\system32\winload.exe - Missing
0xc000000f

..and a prompt to put the Win7 CD back in and repair.
HOWEVER, if I go back to the Boot Selection screen and select the second option "Windows 7" I boot into my fresh install without problems and all is well.

Hopefully someone out there can give me a heads up on how to remove the unneeded "Windows Setup" entry from the Boot Selection screen!

EDIT: Managed to set the Windows 7 OS as the default boot and turn the selection screen off, but would still like to know if I can get rid of the spurious entry!
