oem & sata query please

Hi, not sure how many people read the HD forum but I'll try anyway:

1) Never bought OEM before, can someone tell me if oem HD's come with the appropriate SATA leads etc please. Or would these need to be bought seperately?

2)How much quicker is your average SATA compared to and average IDE?

3)On an unrelated matter, would a crappy 350w psu that came with a £20 cheap'n'nasty case be sufficient to run a SATA drive along with the rest of the (midrange, venice 3500, x800gto) system? I think I already know the answer to this but can someone confirm this please?

Cool, thanks for such a quick response guys. So, say my PSU did have QTec written all over it, would I be best off replacing it with a better, more powerful one and using the QTec to run scalextric instead?
