Broadband users are not getting the speeds they are paying for, according to the largest survey of its kind ever undertaken by telecoms regulator Ofcom.

I'm on ADSL2 and typically get a download speed of < 10Mb/s, despite having been advised that I could expect > 20Mb/s - I have asked for but been refused a 50% discount

Anyone out there on Virgin?
I hear that they are faster than anyone else tested

The general populous needs 30 seconds eduction on ADSL technology so they fully understand WHY they won't get their up to speeds.
