Some people are over-reacting a little. Saliva is going to be on the cutlery anyway, it's not as if it's toxic waste that is going to be smeared over the plates and then left. As long as the dishes are being cleaned, and then rinsed in clean water then whats the big deal? Although the urge does seem a little strange lol!
