) but it is quite cold and there has been a bit of snow

Enjoy the walk at schiphol airport, last time I went to Amsterdam I am sure we ended up at the gate the furthest away, was a good 20minute walk

teasers is a dump.. i went in and straight out. So many better places to be in Amsterdam.

Just back from Barcelona yesterday and that was a good city break. Expensive on the whole but defiantly worth visiting.

Hopefully I’ll be flying there on Easter weekend. Not actually staying there though. I'll be getting picked up and staying with a mate of mine for 4 days, he lives in a place called Spijkenisse if anyone’s heard of it.

The whole city is a building site, cranes, closed off building and roads.. Something to do with a new metro system they are building.. As a result, it look like they aren't bothering. Maybe it's just the time of year.. I'm sure it's nice in the spring but not going back to find out.

As i said, it was fun, plenty of booze, found a couple of good restuarants and nice coffee houses

I've never been hit on by so many blokes in one place before LOL

what gets me is that when they nearly run you down , they ring the bell and shout "cycle lane" but they only ever shout it in English , suppose that tells you something

Yeah, they are building a bloody Metro system nobody wants/needs (what else is new) so it is a bit crap in places.
