If you're planning on buying anything expensive like laptops then bear in mind you'll have to pay duty and VAT if the total value is over £145.

Make sure you get yourself up the Tokyo tower, well worth seeing, amazing views of the city.

And if you can ditch the missus head down to the red light district in Kyoto, top class Geisha tastic ;)

I said I had a Fiancee, didn't say she was actually coming :)

A mate has been living there for two years and he leaves end of July so I gotta get out there before then, so am off soon :) Other half didn't want to go.

So 4 or 5 days in Tokyo, up and down mount fuji, and then back to his place on the southern island near fukokoua or whatever the hell it's called :)

Ok I'll rephrase. If you bring back anything worth over £140 then you're liable for duty but of course you could try your luck at sneaking it through unnoticed, just don't be surprised if you get pulled and fined :)

About a dozen expensive (here) cameras. make a tidy profit on it. ;)

Im sure there are a few gadgets you can get over there, have a look in the shpos and see what you can see. :p

Purchase stuff you want to use :)
Don't be looking for stuff that's going to make money. Buy waht YOU want :)

Digi SLR or something I would invest in!

My mamtes over there now, cant wait to see what trickery he brings back.

He brought some camera back last year, but it was literally the size of a credit card and you could put it in your wallet.
