**** off with ATI

Well I wished I knew about the ATI2DVAG bug before putting my new rig together - what fixes have people tried to sort this out?

What's your spec? I think I'm getting the same problem as you. Is it constant freezing and a BSOD?

Hopefully my sig is up to date...

I was in Vista 64 and having trouble with MOH AA games would freeze but music would still play. So, I decided to dual boot with XP pro (as my games used to work on that OS) and now I get complete crashes - MOH AA (only 1 loaded) will freeze or it will reboot pc - I'm well **** off as I was very close to buying an nvidea card - it was only that a couple of reviews swayed it to ATI - just spent about £1200 on system to - should have got a playstation.

I'm trying some fixes at the moment which don't seem that amazing - namely update MB BIOS - unistalled all ATI programs (check registry also) and reinstall ATI. Not the best is it - how about ATI bring out drivers that work

A quick search on google re ati2dvag brings up a depressing amount of info on this problem - have a good mind to get my money back

I'd do a google on the omega drivers first if i were your - there has been problems with these too

Re Omega drives - just tried the latest ones and they produce an openGL error - something like that. I think i'll quit this and watch Hostel 2 - at least they'll be in more pain - just~!

Try the 8.2 or earlier Cats...the 8.4's do not seem so good for old openGL Games

OK - sorry ATI !!!

Went into vista got 8.4 drivers and loaded up hellgate - played no problems.

\just have to say goodbye to winxp pro on the games front

Just spotted You were trying to run 4GB of Memory on winXP, That will cause problems also !
