Im a technical breakdown fully fledged engineers for British Gas. i started working for BGas in November 2004 and passed my ACS in Feb 2005 (about 13months) trained at Leeds college! i was starting with london waiting on £13-800 back then! once i pass your acs it went up to £14-800 (bare in mind this was 2005 so all pay has gone up now) after doing ya buddying period out on patch with a qualified engineer your pay will will increase to £22000 (£24000 and abit with london waiting again) once youve reached targets and performance is hit for 3 months they will back date your pay for 3 months. Now pay slip states:
Anual Sal £26.167
Non pen Sup £1.470
Total £27.637
Now gmb union is talking about pay increase and rumours state should be about 4.1%.
also on top of that total sallery i get my london waiting again which is about £4400 on top! this is all basic sallery and with overtime/GA/Radicals u can put it up quite abit!
any questions just ask!
also any company willing to train you up in an industry u should jump on as there giving u the oppurtunity!
