Nope, new console = demand for games and people prepared to pay an extra tenner to have "next gen versions" over the old versions.

Basically PS3 games were usually around £35-£45 on launch day. PS4 comes out and they still sell PS3 games, so charge an extra £10 for PS4 version so £45-£55 for the PS4 version as it's new and demand is high. So you walk into a shop and the PS3 version is £45 and the PS4 version is £55.

As time passes by, PS4 games should drop back to "normal" pricing (£35-£45 on launch day) which is what is now happening. At christmas most PS4 games were around £55 (overpriced). They aren't now cheaper because of more games coming out but just gone back to business as usual as people phase out buying PS3 games and demand for it drops so PS4 games drop to PS3 pricing.

Amazon Warehouse is how amazon sell user returned goods.

Someone bought a PS4 then returned it to amazon for a refund. Amazon can no longer sell as brand new so they sell it as "used".

I think he is no longer covered fully because he's bought a used product, his warranty and consumer rights aren't as good as buying brand new that is why it's so cheap.
