***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

Well.. last night was a humiliating defeat. Tonight was a roaring victory.

L4D is an emotional rollercoaster!
 
i hate playing randoms.

level before the finale on no mercy, tank jumps off the building after cripling two people. and the einstiens controlling the hunters go for the cirppled instead of the two people still running around at other ends of the maps. thus we lose the level and funnily enough the game.

doesn't help the other team were corner hugging ******* though.
 
We played a game last night and it was so funny I nearly woke everyone up in the house laughing. It was on the first map of the appartments and three jumped straight down through the glass roof but one forgot his med-pack and hestitated...

I lept onto him and the other three came running back up and the others attacked, it was only by a fluke that they survived all with very little health. But it was so funny. They didnt even get out of the building in the end.
 
I found it funny yesterday when some guy (OCUK) was low on health so all us infected were trying to kill him off, and he jumped out a high window and died, doing the job for us :) Good games though, unfortunately my dinner is always made at ridiculous times so I can never guarantee I'll be in a game for all of it :(

The servers are owned by myself, uvmain and inky on here. However, I do all the admin/config for Left4Dead as they're too lazy :p
 
Well, it is a really big thread :D

I am quite excited about the new content, I don't know the other levels half as well as I know No Mercy by now :D

I also really need to get some expert play in, its just that VS is so fun!
 
I will be up for some expert mode tonight if anyone is game, still havent got the award yet for completing No Mercy so will be looking to do that map, but any will do as they are all a lot of fun.

Very true - hence the smiley face in my post :p

You can get a taste for the other levels in Vs by playing on the custom Vs server. They do need some work though - they're not amazingly balanced at the moment.

I've not really seen many on the custom Vs server so I may revert it to co-op at this rate. Does anybody have a strong desire for me to keep it as custom Vs?
 
Not particularly strong desire either way. I would be up for some expert coop sometime. I really need to play them with some competent players :) I'm not too sure about tonight as I may be busy, but definately sometime this week! My steam name is my name on here.
