The command I use is:

SHift+Tab --> Friends--> Right click friend --> "Invite to game"

:D

It is probably easier than any equivalent through a command line tbh.

Got you mate although I was done playing last night by the time we were sorted. Also added a few other OcUK'ers now thanks to the list that Aekeron made.

I'm having a problem now of remembering who some people are and what their skillset is :)

Had an awesome VS game last night with a few friends and OcUK'ers. Blood Harvest, not many tanks and I think the final score was 7300.vs.7500.

Oh, also playing was [OcUK] Fireball. I think he aliases and changes his name all the time. Might be remembered as c64? Never again, seriously. A fair deal of moaning followed by a RQ on the last map as we were playing infected....weak! Because as shown by the above score everything was completley bias and uneven.....or possibly one of the closest games I've played in a few weeks. Think its a rage/l2p issue tbh.

I had a good game when I took his place, if it was that even, it must've been a good game, wish I could have joined sooner! :rolleyes: I also killed the tank with my puny "down" pistols!

Absolutely not.

Has someone been giving out hassle about not having an [OcUK] tag? You can tell them that the person that owns the servers (well 3/4 of them) says that it's not required and that nagging about it leads to getting banned.

Neither me or uvmain on here (who both own the 3 fragm branded ocuk group servers) have an ocuk tag and that's not going to change. Someone can try kicking/whinging at us about it and see what happens :p
 
You aren't required to be in the steam group either. You can direct connect at anytime using the console command and the server IP (check the steamgroup page for details).

This is the 3 that I run (the fragM branded ones). I presume Seaniboy has set his up the same.
 
The only reason some of us use OcUK tags is so we can identify other forumites. There's no snobbery/restrictions/deathtotheinfidels if you don't have one.

Well i was in the server earlier and i got kicked about 50 times off the trot as did the other one or two without the tag, so that's what i assumed it was
 
Can you supply the names of the people you were playing with?

If you're a new play it might have just been people being frustrated. No offence intended or anything, just might be that rather than the tag thing.

94.229.69.220 was the server about 20 minutes ago, it wasn't a kick vote it from what i could see, seemed more automatic or manual, i've been play with the guys for a long time now.

Ah right. That's the one server that I don't run (Seaniboy's server). Perhaps he can shed some light onto the cause.

I do keep meaning to get into contact with Seaniboy sometime so that we can make sure our server settings max.
 
I don't think it's tag thing. I have [OcUK] on my tag as L4d is the only online game I currently play, and it's usually with fellow OcUK players.

I've been kicked a good few times 'Kicked by Console' for no reason.... none given, either at the end of the level or even as the game begins. Both the FragM and Server5. I assume to make room for someone else to play. It was far worse this weekend, I assume a combination of school holidays and the Steam deal.

I'm not exacty an FPS star but I've played through on Expert a few times now and had a fair few good games with many of the players in here.

While I appreciate having the servers availaible for the community to play on, getting kicked when you finally get into a fullish server sucks.

I've restarted the server I run on a spare VPS so I have somewhere to play where I won't get a console kick if it gets busy.

If anyone want to pm me the steam group ID I'm happy to share since I notice we're down to 4 but I don't know why.
