***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

Fair enough but I don't really see the appeal in the randomness of not getting a tank. I think there are definitely a few maps where you almost need a tank - NM4, BH4, and a few where you see one so rarely it would be good to put one in - NM1, BH1.

Also with some of the longer maps - NM3, I think there should always be one.

Anyway, a vote option sounds good as I can tell a lot of people will disagree on this.
 
i agree i like the randomness of tanks withces etc. Though it is quite annoying when you get a tank and a witch before you even start the finalie on the final levels
 
Tanks are needed really on NM4/BH4 (and of course the finales), but others should be totally random as to whether they appear or not. Though if possible they should NOT appear early or on NM1/BH1, as generally that can suck.

Knowing a tank will spawn on every map doesn't take away the uniqueness of every single versus game and I'm fairly sure you know that.

Now if every horde, hunter, smoker, boomer, tank and witch spawned in the same place on every map in every versus game then you'd have your average fps.
 
Ewwwwwww....I've only just noticed this: Introduced fatigue to the melee attack in versus mode. You will see a HUD display when your melee swing is cooling down

How poo...Kind of a good and bad thing I guess.
 
id love tank spawns on every map

i always sigh when both teams gets to end of map with green health and medkits still intact, because *sigh no tank or witch grrrrr"

Something needed to be done, at least its a step in the right direction.
