was fun last night, sorry I had to dash on the finale

can't believe how utterly shocking our first round was on DT, didn't even make it up the ladders :)

Me:D, which I have to say was embarassing. No smoker, no boomer explosion, no hunter, I just fell off the edge (though I was boomered so could not see a thing, but still embarassing). :eek: On the plus side I was the last player on my team to actually die ;)
 
anyone wanna try n break some new records @ survival? any map suits me :D **now**...? (JOIN THE OCUK L4D CHAT GROUP IF YOU DO)

Been trying to get gold in No Mercy - gas station for some time, where's the best place to holdout, corner behind the lift or up lift and defend corner there?

I (and a few other OcUKers) got a 13 minute-ish time by hiding inside the room you drop down into from the one with the big glass window up the top - the one with the medical locker. Camping on the desks with just pistols unless a tank came along, and the tanks died pretty quickly. It got a bit messy with multiple tanks though.
We did start out (first 5 minutes or so) hiding on top of the forklift/on top of the shutters until the forklift disappeared thanks to the tank :confused:. That seemed to work quite well too.
 
Do any of you guys play Survivor mode? Iv seen playing it a lot recently, trying to get all the gold medals. Ive only seen one guy playing with the [OcUK] tags and he just jumped about shooting all the petrol cans for no reason lol.

EDIT: LOL, it seems you do, wonder why i never bump into any of you? I always end up with a bunch of noobs that just mess about.

Need to get gold on:

the church
generator room
last stand

Any tips for those would be great =).

For this the best way i have found is to all stand in the corner on the roof where the lift takes you up. 3 of you with the shotgun for the tanks and then one with an M4 to take out hunters and smokers. Use pistols for zombies, unless you want to make a run for ammo.

In the corner as mentioned above is good and also in the little room you drop down to through the hole - use pistols to save ammo and shotguns for tanks.

If you go in the little room make sure your team stays away from the window as the last thing you want is to be dragged outside.
 
Found a good place on the Church map, behind the benches. Now i just need to find a team that wont keep running off by themselves so then you have to go and rescue them :rolleyes:.

Cheers, will do :). Just done the church map and got 12 mins. Makes all the difference when you work as a team.

Just need to do generator room and lighthouse now.
