Busy atm guys so unlikely to be on much for the next few days, however I have news. Due to no complaints my search key has changed from ocuklink to just ocuk, the same as the fragm servers, though you can still force your lobby to connect to it with the ms_force_dedicated_server: 85.234.148.240:27145 command in console.

I also shall be uploading a new campaign for versus and coop aswell as a new survivor map in the next couple of days as and when I have the chance. Make sure you download them first onto your own system before attempting to change to it on the server (admin required).

More survival maps will be added in due course. I will also upload the Dawn of the Dead shopping mall based campaign Dead Before Dawn as and when it becomes available. (Due out in July.)

Finally, any sourcemod admins can now run a config such as superversus.cfg on ocuk4 and cevolink.cfg on ocuk1-3 by typing in sm_execcfg <configfile> in the console and therefore do not need rcon.

after a quick lesson in using rcon

I can now do things on link's server too btw guys

and link I found this to fix my 6-0 keys

bind "6" "slot6";
bind "7" "slot7";
bind "8" "slot8";
bind "9" "slot9";
bind "0" "slot10";

Ideally, the fragm servers and link's server will be pretty much exactly the same in terms of config, admins, etc.

As such, I'll be grabbing those maps Link has mentioned and looking at further ways to make playing in different game modes as easy as possible for players/admins.

would 8v8 be possible on your servers then Aekeron?

also do you guys want any money towards the servers, could easily setup the first post of the thread with donation information and targets to meet etc..

The current 8v8 does run on my server

It's mostly link's work getting the config and plugins together for it though.

In /re to money...it's very nice to offer but the dedi I run stuff on is being paid for between me/uv/inky anyhow so don't worry about that. Link has taken on extra expense for his though so perhaps he might be a better person to get given moolah

Oh yes..I've also just uploaded the maps in Link's post to our servers and the latest admin config to my servers.

I've not restarted the fragm servers as yet though - they had people on them last time I checked

The 8v8 server is Aekeron's server, not mine, I just worked out how to set it up.

As far as donations go they are welcome, thanks for the offer, but persoanlly I'm not too bothered. Mainly as long as people understand that if something is going on on there that I don't like (such as excessive racism, excessive swearing, etc) I reserve the right to boot the person responsible, but then I have admins, so I shouldn't need to. A warning first aswell most likely. As said anyway, I wouldn't turn any donations away

I've made a combined download for the custom maps that have have been put on the servers:

You'll need to use 7zip to extract them. Copy the folders into your base left4dead directory.

Nah it wasn't a vote.. as far as i'm aware.. it just happened.. i think. Unless my eyes are failing me. Because the others on my team were like.. why did he get banned? as well.

Which server were you on and who was the admin at the time? As far as I know though it's only the root admins (Frechtart and myself) who can carry out the banning on the ocuk servers (definately on ocuk3). If you can give me this information I'll go and find out why...

Not sure which server it was on but I voted him off as he crashed but remained on the server so we had to get another player asap, didnt think it banned him though and if it did wouldnt it only be for the next 5mins ?

Yeah, it's just a short term ban that kicks in automatically after vote kicks. He should be fine now.
