Anyone getting lag through the roof?

I assume it's to do with the L4D2 pre-load but mine's utterly unplayable at the moment, despite my ping being exactly as normal. Lagging all over the place.

Ye, i've just come away from a game and suffered from some major jerkiness or lag - not sure what may be causing it but you might be right.

Yes it is worth it, problem is now its so close to L4D2 that the most regular players will be soon playing that a fair bit more with the occasional game on the original.

There will of course sill be plently of public players but its nowhere near as good as playing with fellow OcUKers

I will be one example of an ocuk regular who will probably move over to L4D2 upon release. However I will still come back to the older game occasionally when I feel like it.

To be honest I am bored of the first one now (after about 200 hours of play) but can't wait for the second, hopefully it will get me back into it,

No, it just doesn't interest me at all, very meh. Which is strange as I've thoroughly enjoyed l4d.

Some of us will keep coming back to the first one now and again, especially as they'll be no 8v8 in the 2nd one for at least 2 months I expect...
