Also, if you're looking for teams there's a team thread around here somewhere and I'm sure people would be up for team games in both L4D and L4D2.

That's because we were on a public game. Didn't you know by now that if the opposition is losing or not winning outright, they have to save their embarrassment and quit immediately?

That's because you're too much of a tight arse to buy L4D2. Everyones moved over to it because it's got more to offer, and you're left there in L4D1 land on your own playing with the pubs HAHA

You absolutely love L4D man, and you've got TONS of gameplay hours under your belt.I keep saying to you the insanity vs is the best time you'll have playing L4D/L4D2, so make the switch to L4D2. £15, do it noooowww!!

Everyone tell him. Say "harry you big fat yank, just buy the damn game and stop asking questions about L4D2 and try it for yourself" (he's not really a yank, but he's as fat as a yank) :D

First has more atmosphere and feels more polished, but the 2nd game has more to it and has a bigger player base (I think. It does appear to be shrinking though). If you can get a good deal then buy both, but otherwise go for the second one. :)

Oh yeh and a game of Insanity Versus tonight anyone? L4D1...been a long time... :)
 
l4d1 = corridors, night time, Bill, Zoey, Francis and Louis

L4D2 = More open spaced, more infected, different weather effects (only really decent on hard rain), more weapons, larger community (I think)

Love them both though. Both games are missing that certain something. L4D1 is missing the choices and L4D2 is missing the atmosphere.

But then again when you're playing with mates and one of them is raging on mic because of Karma charger, atmosphere doesn't come into the equation!
 
Will do. :) Must admit that the thought of joining random players in a game where I am being screamed at when I make a mistake isn't a pleasant thought, so I'll only be too happy to play with the OcUk left for dead players.

It'll be like when I first started css! :D 'Get off the server, noob!'

hippos and kearney have converted no mercy and blood harvest into l4d2 :D
