***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

Well if i am the lobby leader it is impossible for me to start a game, it just sits there :(.

Have had a game earlier on Dead End, is well good with the horde coming out the woods etc :).

Am up for a game if others are.

Both of my servers support direct connect so there's no need to use the lobby - you can just direct connect to them using HLSW or the like.

Yea, playing versus can be a real waste of time with bad players. Niel and I were playing against a team of really terrible humans and we destroyed them all in around 30 seconds. That isn't an exaggeration, we really did kill them all that quickly. :D

Best place to get this game?

I was about to Purchase it through steam.. seemed reasonable enough until they wacked a load of tax ontop making it just shy of £40 :eek:

Great..... just come to play it got home from work....

click play online tells me I need to be logged in to do that!

Am i not logged in to steam to launch the game anyway!

Agh this is annoying!

I got the game today. Was very happy as I only payed £19.97 for it and only waited 3 days more then the rest who paid nearly double that :)

But that's where my hapiness ended. Its so freakin hard to get a game going with a fread without the server either lagging, or constant disconnects. M e and my cuz spent ages. We only got to the 3rd stage on no mercy and he got cut off. The after 30 mintes of trying we gave up. WTF?

Have had no issues whatsoever with lag or disconnecting.

Use the 'openserverbrowser' console command, set the search option(s) to EU with ping 100 (At 50 and your hardly find a dam thing at moment), dont use the Lobby as it's been rubbish since yesterday, and wasn't much better before that.
 
Paid 29.99 on the high street, some were asking 34.99 - &*&***. If you want it NOW and didnt pre-order (bah) you can get it at q certain store with only 3 letters in its name.
