Apparently the '10 new weapons' ad was aimed at people who had never played the game before - but they slapped it in at the end of the demo :rolleyes:

That doesnt make sense. It would not be `ten new weapons` it would be simply ten weapons to use.

Personally I think that is fraud!

By the way anyone know the command for reducing crosshairs? No one answered earlier.

Shotgun, Uzi, Auto Shotgun, M16, Hunting Rifle, Molotov, Pipe Bomb, Pistols, Petrol can, gas can.

Those are the ten.

Petrol can and gas can...please that is just a destructable piece of scenary! Next you will say the firstaid is a weapon as you can hit people with it.

New suggests that they havent been used before.
 
It does have a decent melee though & everybody loves a good Bash :D

Great game last night guys. Dead Air is by far my favorite chapter. So glad I now have a mic to play this game with.

Getting to the Heli on expert isn't too bad :p

Malc I'll catch you for a game some time, added you on steam earlier. Play with mates using in game chat constantly, so much better than without.

Although you cannot beat playing it in a big hall at a LANParty. Shouting abuse at the people accross the room when you keep killing them is great :p
 
I love the finale with the boat. We had to restart about 6 times cause the tank kept knocking us down and killing a couple of us. But we had a plan to get him to come in and out of the windows of the house as he gets a tad confused (but not stuck) and that gives us a bit of time to fire as many bullets into him as possible. Only 2 survived that actually reached the boat. It was so funny cause one of my mates that died was trying to make it to the boat but because of the health he had that slow limp and the zombies just swarmed him.

One of our tactics to survive was all 4 of us to cram into the little room under the stairs at the bottom of the house. We lasted quite long with one guy just smacking them all off with the butt of the gun while the rest mow them down. We of course forgot about the smokers that dragged us out and the fact the tank runs in half way into the battle. It didn't end well!

Depends. Playing it on expert can last 2-3 hours per chapter, then you can replay them and get a fresh experience. So, the game doesn't have a completion time on it. Its a MP game, which means its not a game you finish and move onto something else, you can also keep going back to it.
 
Does anyone know if there's a problem with the homehub & this game ?

I keep getting freezes every 2 mins on almost every server. they last for about 10 sec each * the audio is on a loop...


Any Ideas ?

All other valve games work fine.

Hope to be playing some of you sometime ;)

Went and bought it from **** for 30 quid after being told it was 25 quid but you know how it is when you get in there, just cant stop yerself :p
