I haven't noticed any that's for sure.

The auto shotty isn't exactly 'new' either.
 
The impression i got from the videos before release was that each character was different. Seem's a little odd letting you choose which character you play when there's no difference between them at all.

Odd that there's no melee weapon either. I know you have Bash, but if i were in a Zombie holocaust, i wouldn't feel right without a machete or baseball bat in my belt.

Ah, good stuff.. our server's had a few lagouts when transitioning between levels, highly annoying.

Amusing that the /kill command for the Boomer is being fixed, pity I never tried it :P

Yeah, would be nice to have slight nuances for each char.. but then again, people will whinge when they get auto-assigned to a character they don't want to be :o
 
Just had a good session, played thru No Mercy and Death Toll and didnt die once! Woohoo! Helps so much when you got a good team behind you!
 
Vs mode in normal is now so damn boring ... when do survivors not make it to the safe house with 4 people alive? never unless you're a bunch of inbreds that cant hit the broad side of a barn door.

Advanced actually made the game interesting, now its pretty tedious :(

Vs mode on normal isn't boring unless you've got a really bad Infected team. I've played against and with some pretty decent survivors that have been wiped quite easily by a decent Infected team. It's all about coordination.
 
Someone has made a versus mode play all campaigns mod but everyone must have the files including the server.

Wish they'd pull their finger out and give us all campaigns in versus already.
 
Is there a special way/ requirement to get the expert level achievements?

I've finished expert from start to finish four times now, and haven't been awarded the achievements once. When I say finished, I mean from lobby all the way through to escaping the finale without dying.

I've finished a few times where I've died in the final encounter, so didn't expect to unlock them those times, but surely I should have been awarded them for the games mentioned above. This has also happened to my friend I've finished them with.

I've had this sort of thing happen in non-expert mode too. There seems to be instances when the game doesn't realise that you've fulfilled the requirements for an achievement. Rather annoying :/
 
I'll be online too once I get the weekly shop, hoovering and cooking/eating out the way after finishing work tonight. Yes, I lead an exciting life...

In all seriousness I have to be up early for hockey tomorrow.

i have had times where i got the achievement, and then the next day i gets taken off me again!!!! but its only happened once that i know of
 
grrr whats up with you ppl? do you lot like playing versus when it's boring? normal is nothing it's easy... all 4 survivors can finish at 80+hp with med kits.. we played that without knowing with robert and others it was boring as hell.. and easy... :/ the best would be advanced not to hard not to easy.. :/
