***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

Well for me I have completed the first two on expert but have yet to finish the other two on expert. I do not play the game on anything but expert so I have had some good hours out of the game.

I realise you're not slagging it off sorry - I was trying to make my post sound non-argumentative but perhaps didn't word it perfectly :)
 
ah FFS, FRENCH PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY THIS GAME...especially if they are pre-teen. Had a game this morning where the TOTAL N00BS kept running off, leaving me to be chomped by the zombeeez or getting chomped themselves. All I could hear were their high-pitched gay unbroken voices screaming "ah, m'aider, m'aider!"

LEARN SOME GAMER SKILLZ FROG-EATING BUFFOONS!!!!

Had a lot of fun doing the airport level last night. It's such a good map and especially the zerg in the scaffolding room. Think we may have cheated the last part somehow by just sitting in the little room 2 stood shooting 2 sat meleeing. Did lol though when the tank came and we where still sat there and just got destroyed
 
Played with some germans today.
Bloody hell cheating bastewards.

I've never seen it before but they jumped over every "trap" - the places where you have to alert the horde to get to onto the next bit.
 
They need to sort the server issues out with this game, it's frustrating when you get disconnected near the end of a good game.
 
I couldnt connect to any servers I tried to connect to last night, even doing a quick game. Hopefully tonight I will get chance to have a game!

But this is PC and Dawn of the Dead campaigns are in the works by users. :D

For £20 (if you bought it online, not through Steam) it's still great value really, Valve will add more in the future too.

I paid £30 but so far have played the game for about 60 hours. We do need some more maps, but with all things Valve, the core gameplay mechanic is so good, the replayability is unbounded.

I didn't have a single game Monday and went on Tuesday evening, couldn't believe how good it felt to be ventilating zombies again, this game is addictive!
