Finally, if you're on my friends list Malakite you may get a message from me saying: connect quake.fragm.co.uk:27018 which you need to type into console once you are ingame. This will take you straight to the 8v8 server. Will probs be up for a game of 8v8 this evening. There will also most likely be a group announcement, but by the time it gets to that stage I'd join FAST if I were you. It seems to fill up quite quickly from there. Quick tip though, if you meet the witch, don't set her off by yourself ;)
 
So what search key(s) are we using now? It's been a while since I started a lobby. :)

sv_search_key ocuk for ocuk1-3

Search key disabled for ocuk4 (8vs8) server however.

Now patched 8v8 server again with mainly boomer fixes, survivor fixes, standard infected fixes and hunter fixes.

Survivor Changes
-Revival of incapped survivors is now quicker
-Survivors can now be incapped 3 times before dying
-Survivors now start limping at 30 health, not 40.
-Survivors now get damaged quicker by fire (like expert mode)
-Survivors damaged more by friendly fire (like expert mode)
-Survivor Melee Cooldown removed. However, if this is exploited I'll bring it back.

Infected changes:
-Smokers, hunters and Boomers are now immune from being stunned after being stunned for 4 seconds
-Smoker Limit Increased to 3
-Witch now does more damage per hit (35 instead of 30)
-Witch now burns in 45 seconds if lit on fire, speedier at dying than 5000 health would otherwise give
-Witches move slightly faster
-Standard infected are less in number but move faster and have more health
-Standard Infected should now spawn more often
-Tank limit is now on 2. Whether this actually works however is still to be tested.
-Tanks aren't dazed for so long by explosions
-Hunters can now pounce damage up to 50
-Hunter claw damage lowered from 15 to 10 (Default is 6)
-Hunters now have more health
-Boomers now have larger explosion splat radius when falling
-Boomers die more often when falling from high up, splattering all around them
-Boomers aren't dazed as long when meleed
-Boomers now have more health
-Boomers move slightly faster

New config should be uploaded as soon as aekeron has a chance. A test 8vs8 will probs be started between half 8 and 9 o'clock. Will announce on steam group when starting.

LOL :D Well, that was entertaining. Made some changes now, ie friendly fire is no more as bad and smokers are just 2 now. The witch is also back at normal speed. Also changed the way the melee cooldown works so should work better. Standard infected have more health though.
 
haha that 8v8 supercevolink config just completley owned us all!

Good lulz though gentlemenm, I'll be up for trying it at a later date with the modifications :)
 
Now that was a really fun 8v8 , absolutely no chance of anyone getting through anything but the first level but awesome fun all the same :D
 
Funny thing is, there IS a chance of making it through now. Just teamwork seems to go out the window even more with 8 aside lol. There's always at least one player who goes off somewhere alone :(

I'm not saying it'll be easy though, oh no, but it's possible. Only thing I'm thinking about modding is the tank's health (as the rest of the infected is now beefed up it doesn't need so much) (and fixing the odd bug that seems to have popped up). Unfortunately valve seem to have locked the cooldown option on which sucks :( Server seems to cope much better now probably because there are fewer standard zombies (each with 4 times the health and faster speed :D)
