it would be great if the custom made campaigns had achievements with them
ie:expert advanced normal etc...then they would all be worth playing;)i need the new official campaign or l4d2 to tempt me back to play as i had achieved everything months ago :-(

Time for some ranting.

I'm sick and tired of the new habit of people just leaving mid game without a word. Imo, when you play with OcUK people on the OcUK servers you play with friends, so stop treating it like a ******* public. If you absolutely HAVE to leave, at least say something. It's rude and its spoiling the game completely to just **** off without a word. If youre gonna act like ******* then go public ffs and leave us people who want a full on fun game in peace!! :mad:

I'm not saying you HAVE to stay throughout the whole thing but at least have some manners :mad: I remember back in the days when people always tried to find someone to fill their spot before leaving. Show some respect to your fellow gamers :mad:

Think i did this yesterday in a game with you though it was because my pc crashed, by the time i had restarted my spot had been taken so i thought i would just leave it as i had been having connection probelms anyway

I can understand where you're come from. I usually play with friends, so I end up tell everyone I gotta get going, and even if the pubby server is nice enough, I'd do the same. (Goes for any online game)

Even so, I'll note the matter.

Couldn't agree with you more, I especially can't stand the sore losers who winge and carry on just because they're having a bad night then leaving if things don't improve. It's demolralising and annoying.

The best way to deal with them is simply remove them from your friends list and encourage the others affected to do so as well. This doesn't mean you'll never see them again but it reduces your chances.

Or you could play with only ool people like me :D

People don't search through the group to invite only their friends lists.
 
Whilst I agree with this for the majority and rage quitting is certainly not acceptable, it is sometime necessary for people to be forced to do other more important things than entertainment, like...well anything is more important that entertainment, but I am sure we can all think of a few things that we value over gaming (and I am one of the people who is always online).

Anyway ideally we should only leave before the start or at the end of a map however we are aware that this might not be possible, so a message should be a necessary courtesy.

Also please be aware that the average Versus campaign lasts just over an hour, so make time accordingly!
 
Think i might just give with l4d for now, still having problems with maps

edit: Was playing with a group of ocuk and loading 3rd map of No mercy it wont let me join because my map differs. Go join and quick match and guess what map loads level 3 of No mercy. Makes no sense at all :/

I've not read the last few pages, so you might have done it already, but try completely deleting L4D and redownloading it.
