***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

A quick Q for you all, how come there isn't a demo available for L4D1?, I was playing No1 yesterday when someone enquired about it, I suggested they check out steam for a demo.
Apparently there was a demo but it is no longer available.
What happened to it?

There was a demo involving the first two chapters of No Mercy two weeks before pre-release. Demo closed on launch day, and unlocked for pre-purchasers.
 
Yeh, unfortunately the demo was very short-lived, which is a shame as I think valve should have kept the demo available. It didn't include versus mode (or survival) anyway and only had the first two chapters of No Mercy. The 2nd chapter was shortened as well.
 
I'm gonna try and get the acheivement again for "What are you trying to prove?" as in complete all four official campaigns on expert mode. I only need Dead Air, the stupid game did not give me it last time.

Anyone up for it tonight?
 
ill do dead air on expert, during one of the updates i lost that achievment for some reason, got them all to do again :(

EDIT: The only damage I ever take from these games seems to be when Kearney places a hunting rifle bullet in the back of my head - other than that its plain sailing. :D

Your gonna have to re-add me on steam at sum point mate. I'm sorry but I tend to have a lot of people who add me, play few a few months then stop playing, so I have a clearout ever so often and you went travelling, I forgot you were travellling... Basicly you aren't on my list anymore ;)

You're outside the 'circle of trust' now Repta and you don't stand a chance of getting back in ;)

Good to see you complete a whole game the other day as well without crashing, looks like you've finally sorted out your issues at last. :cool:
 
Only reason I would do the achievments is if you got a weapon or some type of upgrade after getting them all.

Achievements without any in game reward except satisfactional reward are a bit blah.
