***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

Right, i've decided to give playing with you lot a go, starting from L4D2.

Thing is, i'm half decent at the game, but I expect i'm a fair way behind in terms of skill.

There's no requirement to play with you lot is there? Like being able to play through all the campaigns on Expert? :p
 
Other than the ability to one shot tanks with a pistol from over a mile away blindfolded while performing a hand stand and reciting the alphabet backwards in tune to the Star Wars main theme, no, there are no requirements.

Well... you need to be naked and drinking alcohol. That's about it.
 
Well I just did a Crash Course run, and managed to actually walk into a tank that had it's back to me.

How on Earth did I not see it... ah well. I blame my cold. :(
 
Shame the finale got screwed over, other than that it was a good game. Hopefully the 8 vs 8 will keep you coming back to the game as they are fantastic fun. Failing that, see you all in the next big thing, whatever that may be.
 
No players tonight and no OcUK servers, all that bull about it not dying. Looks like I need a new group of steam friends.

I was more thinking of a group that hasn't bought it and is still interested in playing the original. Was thinking of starting a l4d refugee club but noticed that pretty much everyone in the OcUK group has bought l4d2.

Ended up playing CS:S, old faithfull never lets me down.
 
I spent pretty much all evening installing the demo. Christ, how long did that take?! Probably have to get 2 when I get paid next now.

The OcUK servers shouldn't be down - There are at least two we left up :S

Can't say I'll be playing L4D1 again though. L4D2 seems to be a nice improvement and I'll only go back to one for 8v8 or when I feel like something retro.
