Hi guys,

I have a student version of Office 2003 -- three licences. One licence is installed on my desktop; one is used on an old laptop. The third licence may be used elsewhere; I can't remember! Questions...

1. Can I find out how many licences I've used, and where they're used?

2. If all three licences were already used up and I were to try installing the third licence on another PC, would I get some error when trying to activate the product?

3. Is it possible to move a licence from one PC to another? If so, how?

Thanks! :)

When I applied to a 4th machine then I had to go through a telephone explanation / activation - explained how software had been removed from one of the original machines and all was fine.

Not aware of any way you can tell how many times activated BUT read the EULA. As I recall it is essentially for up to 3 devices in a household etc. You should know where you have it installed - you are not allowed within the EULA to give the third license to a friend.

Also I noted that Acedemic and Student editions have different licence conditions. Don't assume check the conditions applying to your copy.
