Office 2010 3 user license help

guys

a little help needed re office 2010 licensing.

we have office 2010 running on three pc's (two laptops and a desktop).
the problem is that i am putting together a new system and want to be able to have office running on it.

So, how do i go about removing the license from the old desktop, so that i am able to install it in the new build?

Just uninstall it from the old machine and install it on the new one then activate. There is no special register then unregister to go through.

Microsoft (unlike some other software companies) do a lot of their licensing on "trust".
So they assume you'll only install on 3 machines at any given time.

Activations will of course be logged and if you attempted to activate more than 3 times in a short period of time then it might fail, forcing you to make a phone call for activation.
However as long as you haven't installed all 3 licenses in say the last 1-2 months it'll most probably just activate.
