i know there was an MSDN/technet thread a few days back but now it's available for the great unwashed. you just need a live account.

excel and word are almost annoying to use in W7 in Office 2007 at the moment, can't wait for proper w7 integration in office

I've been waiting to evaluate 2010 for ages (even signed up to the 'alert me when you have news' thing on the official site) and I come here to see even the great unwashed masses have gotten their hands on it before me! :eek:

Not for me, although what appears on the list is configurable by your campus administrator. Took mine an extra month to get the Windows 7 RC up.

Also does anyone know if I can run it side by side with 2007 while I test it? I share my desktop with my girlfriend and I don't want to upset her, plus I only bought it a month ago.

Sods law! Your "hey come download me" email is probably stuck in a spam filter somewhere.

Looking at the new features of Outlook I see it now supports conversations. I was trying to track down an email just the other day in Outlook and I was cursing the fact Outlook didn't organize my emails in convos!

I've heard it's possible, although not ideal. Iresspective you can only run one version of Outlook at a time. (2007 version will go if 2010 is installed.)

From when I tried with the Beta it went through the 'Configuring Office 20xx' when switching between versions, I assume some of this was for file associations etc.

I got my email at 9:10 tonight. i thought the install was very slow, it took ages.
