Office Chair - Staples Kashmir has finally become uncomfortable!

Consider the Herman Miller Embody, if you can find one second hand. They're amazing. I wouldn't swap mine for any other option.

Can’t remember writing that! Hypocrite that I am I ended up with o e of the Logitech G chairs which I think are the Embody or based on it anyway.

Yes, I think they are, what do you think of it?
Great chair but is it worth the price? I paid £1200 for a refurb down from £1700 brand new (at the time) and I’d hesitate to recommend it purely due to the cost. Having said that I’ve never suffered any back or posterior pain while sitting on it, something that couldn’t be said with my last £150 random brand gaming chair. Many would consider that worth paying a lot for

I just spotted a company called Symino have started doing what they describe as a "sofa gaming chair". Could this be the spiritual successor to the Kashmir? It has extra cushioning, and is a kind of suede/microfibre finish!

I won't link it, as Overclockers sell chairs. They list some chairs on Amazon, but not this new style - can only find that on their own website.

I had a look at whether they might be vaguely though so I could have a sit in one - and they're based in China (no real surprise there). So someone needs to take a risk! Given the look, the price and the selling location, I suspect it will be very much a Kashmir replacement - very comfy but lacking in quality.

(I asked for, and got, a Costco La-z-boy chair for Christmas, and immediately realised it was completely unsuitable for my gaming desk on building it. It's turned out to work nicely for my work desk, so not a big problem. But it does mean I need to lie low for a while before making any new suggestions about new chairs for me. :D )

I've been thinking of getting a stool so I can swap between my chair and a stool thoughout the day.

I'm likely to swap desks from a large corner desk to a normal shape desk that can raise to a standing height but I can't seem to find one that can support the weight and footprint of the items that I want/need on the desk...
