Why do you need more than 600mm? I put a monitor shelf on mine which freed up quite a bit of space (We have moved house so I now sit at my desk).

Because 600mm isn't deep enough for me? I am not only using the office for the PC. All my gaming equipment is going in the room including a big LED TV being mounted on the wall above the desk.
