Before I read through the MS Newsgroups etc I just thought I'd see if anyone else has experienced this with Office/Outlook 2007.

If I try and do a New Mail Message I get the following error on screen:

Cannot create the e-mail message because a data file to send and receive messages cannot be found. To add a data file, such as a personal folder file, double-click the Mail icon in Windows Control Panel. Outlook cannot open this item. The item may be damaged.

It only happens when you do a "New Mail Message".
If you do new contact, note, meeting request, appointment etc then that works fine.
I'm receiving mail just fine through Outlook, just obviously cannot use Outlook to send mail.

If I open a mail message and attempt to either reply or forward it I get the following error:

The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If this problem persists, restart Outlook. Outlook cannot open this item. The item may be damaged

Any ideas at all?
