I think the weber one is just a charcoal holder I believe? I may be buying into the hype of the American one too much but apparently the built in water reservoir acts as a barrier to make the indirect cooking better?

Has anyone had any experience of the Slow 'N Sear accessory? Only seems to be sold in the states but does ship internationally. Might see if there is any interest in a group buy to split the postage?
No, just sat it on the grate. I wrapped it after I'd taken it off.
This is the one I use, it's very good. It has 1 temperature probe for the meat, and another for the BBQ itself.
I always do half covered (6hrs) and then remaining 6 covered in foil for my pulled pork.
