I think it would be if it doesn't restart, they didn't finish a sector by the looks of it

Its funny, I've watched F1 around this track for 20 odd years and never seen so much carnage as I have across the F1, F2 and F3 races at Melbourne this weekend, no idea why its suddenly turned into Nascar

The last race when they thought Stroll was stopped on the track, but wasn’t, due to incorrect GPS

I don't actually understand how Sainz can get a penalty for an incident that effectively "never happened" now that Alonso was put back into 3rd

I have to admit, I'm loving seeing Alonso on the podium - I just hope that Aston has the speed to win him a race this season

Haas are protesting the result of the race!

I'm willing to bet Haas get less of a hearing than Alonso/AMR did a few weeks ago

So, the argument is whether it is the safety car line or sectors that define where restart grid order is taken from.

It seems like they use the full sector, same as Silverstone last year rather than a "mini-sector"

I'm all for more standing starts. But haven't standing starts been standard for red flags since forever, haven't they? Personally, I'd like the idea for standing starts after Safety Cars to be implemented.

Yeah they certainly have been unless its deemed "unsafe" which is only really generally when we've seen tipping down with rain

Masi turns up for the weekend like a bad smell and it all goes to pot. Starting to wonder if he's been cursed, maybe did a hit and run on a gypsy ?
