I can still see Max disappearing off into the distance tomorrow. He would’ve been on pole if he didn’t have an uncharacteristic mistake on his last lap. (Think it was sector one?) I’ll happily be proved wrong and take an English 1-2 though. :D
He had a small moment as did hamton in 2nd to last corner. Would prob still have been close between them

Norris feels if he hadn't had small moments he'd been on pole. I think the results in qualifying are just a reflection on local ambient conditions, the unusual tyre allocations and errors drivers and strategists made. The RB drs advantage is also reduced at this circuit. Give Lewis his glory for the weekend but it'll be back to normal at the next race?
Over the whole of the weekend so far it's had strange results however I feel only the McLaren's performance was consistent with the last race..

Watched the highlights on YouTube. Looked like a decent qualifying. Danny Ric only 4 places behind Checo, that's not gonna do any good for Checo's confidence. I'm sure in the race Checo will go forward and Danny will go backwards in that alpha tauri.

We finally have some competition up front. Looking forward to tomorrow if it stays this close between the top 3. Doubt Piastri will be able to keep up but would be great if he can. Will be interesting to see how Alfa and Ferrari do.
