this isn't a race any more it just a tyre management session, Ferrari are making Leclerc waste his softs keeping him behind sainz.
It's good to see in this era of 'following closer', if they stay within the 1s they're able to get into now, they just start overheating things instead

Rubbish track so far.
Piastri pit radio - Oscar, possible brief, light rain shower approaching. Could be here in about 5 minutes. Pit lane will get wet first. On the radar, this will be class 1 and only last a couple of minutes.

What was the reasoning for changing the track this year and removing the bridge section ? Its given the track a slightly better flow but has no effect on the racing really.

Its to do with construction work going on, it was an enforced change.
It can't be long until Sergeant gets binned, he's just not up to it
