One thing I will say - if Ricciardo is back for Japan, at this point I'd put him in Tsunoda's car, Lawson looks really good.

Have to say though, if Mercedes do win this - massive props to their strategy team because I don't think they had the outright pace to beat Ferrari on the same strat

Some of the camera angles they are using are horrible. Makes the cars look like they're going so slowly.

There's been a few races with utterly crap camera work this year so far

Sainz has done enough now to win this surely, Norris might not hold on though

Max nearly had Charlie there.

Verstappen was massively quick at the end there, some comeback to 5th to be fair after where he was

I'd like to see the Russell crash again but to be just seems like he cracked under the pressure

Really strong run from Max at the end, was that all to do with the Medium tyres? Suzaka will probably back to usual RB dominance - but this race shows how exciting it could be without it.

Other teams needing to catch up, I expect some have basically given up on their '23 car now anyway and focusing on '24 now

Lol what’s with the totally over the top judging on Russell from everyone. He was on for P2 or 3 and made one big mistake on a narrow street circuit. People have done worse.

I agree saying worse than Perez is well over the top, but its also true that Russell has done very little as of yet to prove that he's ever going to be a top, top F1 driver.
I can't see him being any better than a Button or Hill at this point.
