Weather forecast isn't pleasing. This is a dull track that could do with some rain too.

Still, will be interesting to see what upgrades teams bring. This is a pure aero track and cars are usually two by two here.

I really liked Monaco. This is going to be much worse!

Because they have the best engine and areo. To not benefit them it's going to need a track that negates though advantages.

Can't really tell from first practice. Second practice is normally the bigger tell on what perf will be like come qualy/race.

For example i doubt De Vries will be anywhere near 4th

I am not expecting anything much though. I imagine the pecking order will still be similar, and Merc will be fighting with the Astons and Ferraris again, rather than the Red Bull.

I think Merc are going to really want to get 2nd place in the constructors, which I think they can do with their driver line up. Stroll's mediocrity is likely going to cost Aston a a lot of points.

AM would be so much higher up the ladder if Stroll actually did something with the 2nd best car on the grid. If he was the 2nd driver for RB they'd have demoted him back to karting already.

Yep. It's going to hurt Aston up against Merc (who have two very good drivers)

Alonso is brilliant, but I'd take Lewis and George over Alonso and Stroll any day of the week (given the choice of just those two pairings)

I think most teams have upgrades thus it's rather a status quo that remains the same..

If mercs only half a second off rb with a good amount of new car that's not a bad thing.

They have a lot more room for upgrade over red bull who have been upgrading since the beginning of last season
