I struggled last year. This year I'll just follow via the YouTube highlights and not worry about the guilt of taking some time for myself from the kids when a race is on.

There's just no soul in it anymore, overtaking moves are purely DRS and not even reliability can threaten the leader. F1 has always been a more thinking man's sport in some aspects but it doesn't take a genius to predict where most of the field will finish. Ah well.

I find it weird the race isn't on a Sunday, feels unnatural.

Race boring, but if a yawn fest, good news is that McLaren havnt become a massive failure which I was worried about.leadt they are in the mix, and the others have gained that much more. Hopefully they can develop the same rate as last year and get up front, but will be tough with others developing also.

Half of the races last year I watched on YouTube highlights

Id huffed enough copium to add it to nowtv. It might not last the whole year… :D

Very dominant 1-2 from the Red Bull's, unfortunately all the rivals seem to have done a poor job at being in anyway competitive. I don't know what happened to Lewis as it seemed he struggled with the car so it'll be interesting to hear his post race interview.

Having another think maybe giving it 3 was generous haha and Red Bull supposedly getting big upgrade when we hit European races . Hopefully going forward we'll see good mid pack battles

Perez is just woeful, how he has a seat is beyond me. I know he's way below Max (and 99% of the rest of the grid) in terms of ability, but to be that much slower in the same car is just pathetic

While I think he underperformed he did have to work his way into 2nd after qualifying.
He's not great but there's no way he's worse than 99% of the grid

BBC text commentary reckoned his seat broke (?!). Mercedes car prep' on point...

Yeah that was a little bit scathing on my part to be fair :D but he's certainly not worthy of a seat in a car like that.
